[Verse 1]
Vegetarian (vs)
Meat-two-veg traditional
One perceives a feast
Other believes karma feeds
[Verse 2]
Tri guna prakriti
Sattva, rajas, tamas three
Taste affinities
Incompatibilities
[Chorus]
Everywhere you go
Strive to know divinity
Even where not your cup of tea
[Verse 3]
Polar opposites
Sleep awake asleep divide
Introspective mind (vs)
Sense enjoyment day and night
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 4]
Crass and vacuous
Without substance razzmatazz
Boredom tedious
Neither other understands
[Middle 8]
Red, yellow and blue
Colours primary
Unlimited hues
Permutations of same three
[Instrumental + spoken word ]
What’s to judge? All hues are derived from combinations of the primary three … just some clash when placed together. Likewise, if a sattvic-oriented person is repulsed by tamas habituals, or vice versa, this is but a modes of material nature mismatch. Nothing to get all het up about and dismissive over. Better to aspire for transcendence.
[Repeat Chorus to fade]
