[Spoken]
I speak to you from beyond the grave. The good news is I did not die. Life here is pretty good, in fact much the same as my life was with you.

Only thing is I now forget my past life. So, to be honest, I’m not really sure to whom I address these words.

I apologise for this, my lover, sister, brother, father, mother, adversary, friend, anonymous other, … it doesn’t mean I love you less.

I believe I have some sort of temporary amnesia. Perhaps you can take that up with God. Is it really necessary? Ask him.

And for those of you who doubt existence of an afterlife, or wonder what it’s like, a question. What do you think your present life is? Seriously. Think about it.

And is it logical to think that because you cannot today recall past lives they definately did not exist? Have you never forgotten something … to remember only later when something triggers recollection?

I’m waiting for a trigger here.

And by the way, I crossed paths the other day with someone I felt an immediate connection with, and as you may know already, when I met my wife it was love at first sight for both of us. Chemistry, they call it.

I’m learning to play the guitar now, almost as if I already know stuff. You know, the way chords and melody work together. That sort of thing. It’s a bit like getting on a bike again after thirty years. But no wobbles this time.

Anyway, I will say bye for now, and I’ll talk with you again soon I’m sure. If not before.

[Sung]
From beyond the grave I speak
Good news is I did not die
After life is pretty good
Much the same as past life
