Disclaimer: God might not look like an old man with a beard.

[Verse 1]
Open window divine
Perceive something sublime
But then narrow mind filter
Don blinkers limit sight

[Verse 2]
Glimpse sacred in faith leap
Experience embrace
But then other faiths deride
One bonafide decide

[Chorus]
Disrespect beloved
Unconscious offensive
Just because can’t conceive
Dear to God other see

[Verse 3]
Imagine substantial
Percentage awareness
Contradictions reject
Demonise who accepts

[Chorus]

[Instrumental]

[Verse 4]
Unlimited God is
Yet other paths dismiss
By refusal to respect
Compromise own progress

[Outro]
If there’s one thing above all others that hinders progress in one’s spiritual life it’s got to blasphemy. Is it not risky to think that blasphemy cannot extend beyond the faith divide to other religions, their sacred, and their revered saints? Do we really understand God enough to be sure that other faiths are not equally or even more celebrated by God as our own? While our realisation may be not nothing … are we humble enough to admit its limits? If we believe God is unlimited … how much can we really know? Do we know enough to blaspheme other religions and their saints with confidence? Better be sure.
